Congratulations to Lola Roeh, general manager of the Osthoff Resort in Elkhart Lake, Wisconsin, who received the 2014 Wisconsin Tourism Legacy Award, an impressive recognition within the state’s tourism industry, for the can-do attitude that has defined every aspect of her career.
I had the pleasure of visiting the resort in early fall 2013, and it was truly magnificent, from the cooking classes to the Aspira Spa, to a fabulous dinner in the restaurant named after her. I’d go back in a heartbeat.
We took it to the kitchens this year and asked chefs and restaurateurs what they thought about the TC food scene and how we got here.
